Account Registration & Login
How to Create a Hibit App Account
- Information Required:
- A preferred username
- Your email address (e.g., example@gmail.com / 123456@qq.com)
- A password (must include one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character)
- Referral link (optional): See the referral program section in this article for details
Once you have registered, a pop-up will appear on your screen notifying you that we have sent a validation email. Please check your inbox and click on the link provided. Once validated, you may proceed to the login screen to access your account.
- Login Process:
- Enter your username and password, then click “Log In.”
- After clicking the login button, you will be prompted to set up biometric login (fingerprint login). You can set up multiple fingerprints, allowing those with registered fingerprints to log in to your account. You may skip this step for now.
- You will also receive an email from Hibit confirming your login (Authenticated User).
Congratulations on successfully logging in to the Hibit App. The interface should look similar to the one shown below:
Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Download Google Authenticator from your app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). The following images are from Google Play Store:https://support.hibit.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/GoogleAuthenticator-691×1536.jpg.
- Once on the home page, pay attention to the bottom navigation bar. First, click on your profile. On this page, you can view your profile and adjust app settings, such as language and theme. You can also find helpful information, and at the bottom, you can log out.
- Click on the “Security” option in the top navigation bar. After entering this section, click the “Enable 2FA” button in the third box.
- After clicking the “Enable 2FA” button, you will see the following interface:
- It’s recommended to copy the manual code because Google Authenticator doesn’t allow screenshots, and its QR scanning feature cannot access device images.
- Open Google Authenticator, tap the + button in the lower-right corner, and select “Enter a Setup Key.” In the input account details screen, enter “Hibit_App” as the account name to identify the code is for Hibit App verification. Then, paste the manual code you copied earlier into the key field. Choose the default key type (Time-based), or you can opt for another type (Counter-based). Click “Add.”
You will now see a six-digit verification code for Hibit-App in Google Authenticator.
Please note that once created, the setup cannot be modified. If you wish to change it, you will need to redo the 2FA setup process.
- Enter the six-digit code from Google Authenticator in the activation section, and click “Confirm.” If the third card changes to “Manage 2FA,” congratulations, you’ve successfully set up 2FA!
After enabling 2FA, each time you log in to your account, you will need to enter your password twice: once for the account password and again for the six-digit verification code from Google Authenticator.
Wallet Creation & Management
Before making deposits or withdrawals, some verification is required. Go to your Profile -> Verification, and you will see three verification steps:
- Identity verification
- Complete the account opening questionnaire
- Sign legal documents
The verification steps are the same as on the Hibit website. For more information on how to complete the verification, please refer to this article.
Once the Hibit team approves your verification, the “Wallet” option will appear in the bottom navigation bar, and you can start trading.
Trading Operations
Once your verification is approved, your Hibit App interface will look similar to the following:
Deposit/Withdrawal
In the wallet interface, click on “Send” (or “Receive”) at the top. Choose the asset you want to deposit/withdraw (we will use Bitcoin as an example). Then enter the external wallet address and amount. You can also add a note for the purpose of this transaction. Click “Send Asset.”
You can also go to the wallet interface or the Overview (wallet balance section) interface, click the asset you want to deposit/withdraw, and enter the same interface as shown above.
In this interface, you can also send and receive assets.
Add Address Button: Click the “Add Address” button to whitelist your wallet address. In the future, when you send or receive, you can select a whitelisted address from the dropdown menu instead of entering it manually.
